Got up and started cleaning again. This time I went after the couch and then the bathroom. Everything deep scrubbed Navy Style again. My son came home and they went to pick up my wife from the airport as she was flying in from AZ as she had left California and flown to Phoenix to visit her sister. I continued to clean. During the time I was cleaning I took a break and posted on my forum that I was for sure skipping the BDR run.
My wife gets here and I tell her and she said to get my seals fixed and brakes done and go as I am already out here and it would be stupid to miss it since you’re here. So I started searching again.. A forum member by Boise said to call a couple of dealers in Boise. Dennis Dillon power sports in Boise said get it here by Wednesday morning and they could do it. The forum member…Bob had purchased two seals as someone local had them. I need those seals as no dealers have any!!!! With communicating back and forth we found a suspension specialist that Bob knows and he can get me in on Thursday afternoon. Much better! So I am heading 500 miles West tomorrow to get the seals done and then 2 to 3 hrs SE to Jarbridge, Nevada. Then off to do the Idaho BDR. I just have to buy a piece of 1/2″ square steel tubing to be able to hold the fork internals… The BDR should take about 8 days. Then I head home… I have a MotoZ Tractionator Adventure on the front and a MotoZ Tractionator GPS on the back. If I can swing it I will have them swap the rear tire. If not then I may do it myself. Game on!
