Casey, IL 4/26/24

One of the things I like about riding and touring is that you never know what you’re going to find. If any of you know of Oark Country Store in the back hills of Arkansas then you’d feel right at home at the Moonshine Store out in the middle…

guy’s
journey
begins

Enrich your life by doing. Doing what you ask… Well that depends on you. Immerse yourself in the local culture, get out of your home just find something new. An adventure doesn’t have to be far away. It can be and often is close to home. The American people have got themselves into a rut and they need to get out of it. Maybe for you an adventure is just going to a new restaurant or maybe it is going on a solo around the world trip. What are your dreams? Have you given up on your dreams? Maybe it is time to knock the dust off of them.

I started this blog because over the years people have asked me to start one. Some are people who cannot get out of there homes due to health, others are knee deep in kids and can’t go see the world around them. Others just like to follow along with what I am doing as I describe the day.

By starting this I just want to be me and have you come along for the ride. If it inspires you to get out and start your own little adventures that would be great. Remember it’s not the size of the adventures you go on… it’s that you go and do!

Eventually I will make a page where you can share your adventure… whether it was the first time you went to a local Forest Preserve or you jumped out of a perfectly good plane with a parachute. You should share it… Now lets get out of the rut and live a little!!!

Remember when you were a kid and finding something like a Robin’s nest was a huge adventure? Watch little kids and learn how important it is to recapture that sense of wonder about the world that surrounds us. There is so much that we don’t see simply because we don’t take the time to look.
